Soft Washing
Low pressure plus the right detergents — kills algae and mold at the root, safe for stucco, tile, and screens.
Most of the dirt on a South Florida home is not dirt — it is alive. Algae, mildew, and mold feed on humidity and paint themselves across stucco, tile, and screens. Blast them with high pressure and they come right back, along with cracked stucco and stripped paint.
Soft washing works differently. We apply a detergent solution at low pressure — gentler than a garden hose — let it kill the growth at the root, then rinse clean. The green and black is gone, and because the organism is dead rather than smeared around, it stays gone three to five times longer than a pressure-only wash.
This is the correct method for house exteriors, screen enclosures, pool cages, fences, and painted or delicate surfaces of any kind. It is also the method most equipment-rental weekend jobs get wrong. We handle the chemistry, protect your plants, and leave the property rinsed and neutral.
Common questions
We pre-wet all landscaping, keep it rinsed during the wash, and rinse again after. Delicate plants get covered. This is standard on every soft wash we do.
